A clear guide for Singapore households

Privacy Policy

Before a device enters your parent's home, you should know exactly what leaves the flat. Radiant Robotics collects only information needed to answer enquiries and provide agreed household support. You can ask what we hold, request a change, or withdraw consent.

Information and purpose

What We Collect and Why

We collect details for a specific reason, then keep them only for the stated period. Expand a row for a practical example.

Only what is needed.

Data category Why we use it Typical retention
Enquiry details
See an example

Your name, preferred contact method, estate area and the kind of help your household is considering. We don't need an NRIC number to arrange an initial conversation.

To reply, assess whether a service may fit your home and arrange a consultation at your request.

Flat type, room use, device inventory and installation constraints you choose to share. We use these details to plan a suitable setup.

To plan an installation, configure agreed features and support the household's chosen settings.

Sensor-related data

A motion or environmental reading may help identify a change in a routine. A sensor records its signal; it does not identify a person's face or capture bedroom video.

To produce agreed household insights or alerts. Processing is kept on-site where the device and service allow it.

Insight summaries: up to 30 days
Caregiver details

A caregiver's name, contact number and alert preferences are used only when the household has authorised those notifications.

To send the notifications the household has chosen and to manage changes to recipients or preferences.

Service period + 90 days

These are standard periods. We may keep a record longer when a household asks us to, or when a legal obligation requires it. We delete or de-identify information when the applicable period ends.

Data Minimisation in Practice

Responsible AI privacy starts with collecting less. A useful alert should not require a household's full daily record.

Less data leaves home.

How a household signal is handled

The exact processing depends on the device and the service the household chooses.

  1. 01 Sense A device detects a relevant movement or environmental change.
  2. 02 Process Where possible, the signal is assessed within the home.
  3. 03 Share An agreed insight or alert goes only to selected recipients.

Process locally where possible

Devices can assess some signals in the flat so fewer raw readings need to leave the household. We explain any service that requires information to be processed elsewhere before setup.

Keep useful insight, not continuous logs

We aim to turn activity into a limited summary instead of storing a running record. The kind of insight retained depends on the chosen service and its settings.

Limit who can see updates

Households choose the people who receive alerts. Staff access is limited by role to the information needed to provide support.

Make sharing visible to the senior

The person living in the home should know what is installed, what it detects and who receives updates. We encourage families to discuss these choices together.

For HDB smart home privacy, the installation plan should be as clear as the device list. We will talk through sensors, alert recipients and settings before anything is installed.

Your choices and our safeguards

Access Requests, Retention and Security

Ask to see or correct personal information, request deletion where applicable, or change who receives household updates. Our Singapore team will guide you through the request.

You can change your mind.

Access and changes

Email [email protected] with the request and a safe way to contact you. Tell us which household or service the request concerns; don't send identity documents unless we ask through an appropriate channel.

  • We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days.
  • We aim to respond within 30 days, or explain if we need more time.
  • You can ask us to update contact details or notification choices.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry records are typically kept for 12 months after the last contact. Household configuration and caregiver preferences are typically kept during service, then for up to 90 days.

Sensor insight summaries are typically kept for up to 30 days. We remove information sooner when it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation or an unresolved matter requires us to retain it.

Security and providers

We use access controls, protected data transmission and staff handling procedures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access. Access is limited to staff roles that need the information for their work.

Service providers may process information only where needed for defined tasks, such as hosting or sending an authorised notification. Their responsibilities are documented, and we don't sell household information.

Raise a Privacy Question With Us

Ask us about sensor data protection, caregiver access or a proposed setup before installation. We will explain what information is used and help you submit an access or change request.

We'd rather answer before a device is installed.
