A focused start for a 3-room flat

Begin with living-room lighting and air-conditioning control, then add simple bedroom night lighting. Wireless devices keep the setup suited to an occupied home.

Room by room

What goes where, room by room

A useful setup follows the way your household moves through the flat. Start with the rooms that need attention most.

Living area

Shared spaces

Make common routines easier to manage.

  • Lighting scenes for reading or winding down
  • Air-conditioning and entertainment controls
  • Presence sensing where it makes sense

Bedrooms

Rest and comfort

Keep controls simple after lights-out.

  • Low-level night lighting
  • Sleep-friendly temperature settings
  • Bed-exit sensing when requested

Kitchen

Everyday safety

Get useful alerts without adding clutter.

  • Water-leak sensing near likely risk points
  • Appliance status notifications
  • Ventilation reminders for cooking routines

Utility and bathroom

Wet zones

Use compact sensors in areas where they help.

  • Leak alerts near washing machines and sinks
  • Humidity monitoring where needed
  • Safer night lighting along the route

Wireless retrofit

No renovation, no rewiring, no emptying the flat

Wireless devices communicate without new cables running through walls. We choose mounting methods for the surface and the device, including adhesive pads, clips or discreet brackets.

Renovation-based work

More suitable when electrical work is already planned.

  • May involve cabling and surface repairs
  • Can affect access to rooms during the work
  • Not required for the wireless options described here

A typical three-room or four-room installation is scoped after we check the rooms, connectivity and device count. We’ll explain the expected schedule before any work begins.

Designed for every generation

Controls a senior can use without asking for help

Keep familiar ways to switch things on. A phone can be useful, but it should not be the only way to control a room.

Familiar switches

Keep physical switches or add wall controls so lights and fans still feel straightforward to use.

Clear scene buttons

Use large labels and strong contrast for common actions such as “Night light” or “Cool room”.

Voice as an option

Voice control can help when reaching a switch is difficult. It remains an alternative, not a requirement.

Make accidental changes less likely.

We can separate everyday controls from settings that should stay fixed, then agree who can change those settings. Button size, tactile feel and label contrast are checked during setup.

Comfort through the day

Room temperature · settings are tailored to your household

  • Humidity monitoring for damp rooms
  • Air-quality checks where relevant
  • Air-conditioning adjusted around use

Respond to the room, not only the clock.

Temperature and occupancy readings can guide air-conditioning settings. Fan and ventilation routines can help avoid cooling an empty room for hours. We set energy-conscious defaults and adjust them to the people using the space.

Morning: Open curtains or switch on a gentle light scene; keep cooling off until the room needs it.

A setup that can grow

Start small. Add later.

Choose a practical first step, then add devices if household routines or care needs change. Each phase is checked against your flat and existing equipment.
